The Great Glamorgan Ride.
Start time 8:30 Liberty Stadium

The route has been revised and is slightly different from last year. This a club social ride, there will be no dividing into two groups. Members need to stay together through the lanes…….or you will get lost! We will proceed through Baglan , Port Talbot, Pyle and Laleston. After a short stretch of the A48 we fork left for Merthyr Mawr continuing through St.Brides and onto Macross and St.Donats. We should have our first stop in the bike shop at Llantwit Major. We then proceed to St. Athan, Llancadle and up to Bonvilston. We then cross the A48 and take the road to Welsh St.Donats and on to our second stop at Oscars in Cowbridge. We then follow the lanes back via Llandow to Castle upon Alan and continue to Southerndown and Ogmore and Merthyr Mawr again retracing our route back to Pyle and Margam etc,. The distance is around 90 miles or more depending where you live. Please make your family aware that you are going to be out longer than usual. Bob H, club captain.
